Info for Luke on BYC and a video for my other veiwers :)

This is the Salmon Faverolle:  We named her Ava She is a bit skiddish YET, we work with her every day though.  Once she is out of the box she is totally fine its just catching her IN the box lol She WILL come up to get a tummy rub now tho.

Below is the Red Sex link last week:  Named this one Lola she is a little more shy then the other red sex link but getting lots better now.

here she is today: NOW she looks alot like the salmon Faverolle but they looked VERY different when they were chicks.

Here is the brown Sex link she is a real sweety.  We call her Bell this one will come right up to you no problem just like the other brave girls I have.

They are ALL very active and energetic...see the video below at the end of this entry...it was their first time out in the grass...they loved it.

Now on with my regular entry... here are a few of my girls first time ever outdoors enjoying all the warm weather and grass...and some bugs too ;)

When we were bringing in the chickens for the day I went in and closed the kennel behind me...come back out to see this!  lol

It was quite helpful as he could grab the chicks for me so I could take them in.  LOL

Nala was a big protector today...she come running up to me (used to be really shy last week) and she just laid her belly in my hand.  Then she would peck at any others who would peck at my hand.  SO cute.  I'm really getting attached to her. Izzy (Red Sex link) and Emma (My black Sex Link) were my favorites for a long time but now I think I have three fav's ;)  Of course I still love my Buff Brahma's too. And the brown Sex Links are both really friendly too now.

Well Stefan and I painted the inside of the coop with sealer today...now we are waiting two days and will paint it with reg exterior paint.  Can't wait to see what it looks like done.  I will take pics of it later today and post them tomorrow.  Looks good tho.  Going to post the video below:  ENJOY  It's cute.

My son Stefan is asking me if I like having the chickens out there (he is deaf so it's harder to understand him)
